Brigitte Labbé studied philosophy in Paris Sorbonne University after leaving her successful and long lasting professional career in communication sector. Her philosophy studies focused on how to convey the complicated philosophical concepts to children. In her worldwide best-selling series “Les Gouters Philo” she created as a reaction to the dogmatism of philosophy, she tried to show that for children philosophy is a continuous and self-renewing questioning process. Labbé meets with her child readers in schools, libraries, cafeterias and has discussions accompanied with candies and cookies J, while at the same time making presentations to adults in local and international conferences, on the issue of explaining difficult concepts to children. She lives in Paris with her musician husband Wassim Soubra and her two daughters. Her books published by Günışığı Kitaplığı in Turkey.
