    TERESITA CANDIA FERREYRA 

    She was born in 1944 in Havana. In 1971 she received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Havana University. Teresita’s career in journalism began at Moncada Magazine while she was working at the Ministry of Interior Affairs where she would be retired from in 1993. She then worked for CIMEX Company Group until 2008. Teresita Candia is actively continuing her career in journalism and writing and she has countless news reports, articles, interviews, research etc published in Moncada Magazine as well as many other media organizations in Cuba and Latin America. The author has three books published in Cuba and a number of Latin American countries: Dallas: 24 hours of a Conspiracy, Similar and Contrary: A Cuban’s Notes of Nicaragua and Tomás Borge: Biography of a Leader.
