Academician and poet, Dimitri Burago was born in Kiev in 1968. Mr Burago graduated from the Kiev Pedagocis Institute, Philogy branch in 1990 and to this day works at this institute as an academician. Dimitri Burago, who is a member of the National Writers Association, has been awarded many noteable awards. Both nationally and internationally he has published poems in many magazines and anthologies. He is the founder of the International Language and Culture Association and annually holds many meetings to do with science and culture. Dimitri Burago is the head editor of the Collegium Literature Magazine. He is an active member of multiple Literature and Culture Associations and in the year of 2018, he founded the Rara Avis Science and Culture Award.
